Imagine sleeping in an art gallery. That’s exactly what you’ll experience when you book your stay at Stil!! This luxurious one bedroom villa is a visual feast, with art everywhere you look, modern interiors and stunning mountain views.
Located in the heart of Montagu, the quaintest town and definitely one of our favourites in the Western Cape! The villa is positioned along the Keisie Riverfront and the large garden and magnificent mountain backdrop will make you feel like you’re nestled right in nature but you can still (see what we did there) walk into town. It’s the perfect place to breathe, relax and retreat and it’s pet friendly so your furry friend can take a few days off too!
Features
This spacious, light and bright, one-bedroom villa, with Anton Smit sculptures throughout sleeps two adults. As you step inside you’ll be greeted by a pick-up sticks entrance table and a fresh cheese board on arrival. The open plan living spaces flows into a fully equipped kitchen which is kitted out with every appliance you need – perfect for foodies! You can also order a variety of food baskets or spoil yourself with a private chef. The bedroom opens out onto a beautiful patio which includes bean bags and a heated pool, perfect for swimming all year round and you don’t need to worry about waiting to get the temperature just right. Pop upstairs to the rooftop for a morning yoga session or evening sundowners and enjoy the 360-degree views. It’s also off grid and wifi is strong so it’s perfect if you want to work remotely.

Our Top Tips
- Pack some comfy walking shoes as there are plenty of trails to explore. We did Lover’s Walk which is a short walk along the river with some incredible rock formations. If you carry on this path it will lead you to the famous Montagu springs
- Pack your yoga gear as they have yoga mats and the rooftop is ideal for a morning or evening yoga session
- The wifi is super fast so it’s ideal if you want to work remotely
- Breakfast, dinner and picnic baskets can be arranged with prior notice. We recommend ordering the picnic basket and enjoying it at the picnic table next to the river.
- The Stil Team can curate one-of-a-kind adventures for you eg. town tours, chauffeur driven tours, art tours, culinary experiences, ghost tours, massages, rock climbing, horse riding etc.
- Take a walk into town for coffee or lunch, there are some really cute coffee shops – The Rambling Rose is our favourite, they have fresh bread, pastries and super yummy pasteis de nata
- Don’t stress if you’ve forgotten anything, there’s a Spar just a 3 minute drive away
