This luxurious eco cabin comes with the coolest pool out there and has everything you need for a relaxing stay in nature, including a wood-fired hot tub, cargo net, outdoor bath and shower!
Nestled on a private part of Loxtonia Cider’s farm, just under two hours from Cape Town, Ceci offers uninterrupted views with floor-to-ceiling glass that invites the outdoors in.
What we loved
The reservoir pool – we’ve never seen anything like it at a cabin, nor water as blue as this! The cargo net suspended over the middle of the pool is the perfect spot for catching a tan, evening sundowners or even stargazing. Another highlight was the indoor shower which feels more like an outdoor experience without having to brave the elements!
The Space
Kitchenette
The modern kitchenette is fully equipped with a gas stove, small fridge and air fryer, along with two bar stools for casual dining. There is also a cute coffee station with a Nespresso machine. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper are provided.
Living
The cozy open-plan living space comes with a fireplace and a comfy couch next to a book swap library – take a book, leave a book! There are also board games and a bluetooth speaker to enjoy.
Outdoors
There are multiple spaces to unwind and enjoy the views but our favourite has to be the cargo net over the reservoir pool! There is also a wood fired hot tub, field bath, outdoor shower, bean bags, outdoor dining area with a gas braai and a boma area.
Bedroom
There is an extra length queen size bed with luxurious linen and extra blankets for winter, and a ceiling fan for summer. There are also two cupboards for storage and robes to enjoy during your stay.
Bathroom
The indoor bathroom boasts an incredible shower with floor-to-ceiling glass, giving you the feeling of showering outdoors. Eco-friendly bath amenities are provided. For a true nature experience, you can also enjoy the outdoor field bath and shower.

Our Top Tips
- Pack your hiking shoes or mountain bike as you’ll want to explore the farm and orchards and stop to take some pics with the pink and white blossoms in spring
- There is a two night minimum stay so make sure to book your leave in for a stress-free getaway (the wifi can be a little slow if you’re working remotely)
- Pop into Loxtonia’s tasting room and enjoy some of their refreshing ciders
- Remember to bring a book so you can make use of the book swap library – take a book, leave a book
- Don’t forget your yoga gear! The deck is the ideal spot for some morning yoga and yoga mats are provided
