Our Top Tips

  • Pack your hiking shoes or mountain bikes as you’ll want to explore the surrounding areas. We did the Klipspringer Hike which leads to a beautiful rock pool (it takes 1.5hrs and it can be a bit hectic in parts with loose rocks but it’s so worth it!)
  • There is a two night minimum stay so make sure to book your leave in for a stress-free getaway (the wifi can be a little slow if you’re working remotely)
  • Remember to bring a book so you can make use of the book swap library – take a book, leave a book
  • Pick up some ice in Robertson so you can keep your drinks perfectly chilled in the Field Bar. There is a decent Spar in Robertson
  • Factor in some time to explore the town of McGregor, it’s super quaint and there are some really nice coffee shops
  • If Zola is booked then have a look at Sena which is very similar (< 1km away)
