Located in the Breede Valley, between Montagu and Touws River (2 hours, 30 minutes from Cape Town), Yellowstone sleeps four and is the perfect getaway for friends and families. It’s also pet friendly, so your furry friends can join in on the fun!
Take in the Karoo landscape from the deck of this eco-friendly cabin which offers comfort and style in equal parts. We love that you can kick back and enjoy the quiet with the people who mean the most to you, all while taking turns to cook, pour drinks and boil the kettle for tea!
Features
Outside you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub, two sun loungers, a sunken lounge area, outdoor bath, and a braai and boma area. Inside, there’s a spacious living room with a leather couch (a perfect place for sipping on a G&T or enjoying a post-dinner whisky!), a telescope so you can get up close and personal with the stars, and a deck with views that will take your breath away. The cabin is also fully off-grid too so you don’t need to worry about loadshedding.
The Space
Kitchen
There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a SMEG gas stove, fridge-freezer, airfryer and bean-to-cup coffee machine. Coffee beans, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper are provided.
Living/Dining
The living space boasts a spacious, open plan design with sliding doors that can open fully on either side giving you that feeling that you’re right in nature. There’s also an indoor fireplace, bluetooth speaker and telescope for stargazing. Books and board games are also provided.
Bedroom
The two bedrooms are separated by a large open plan living space which offers some privacy. Both bedrooms are a mirror image of each other (no arguing over who gets which room here!) and open out onto a small private deck with stunning views. Both rooms have an extra length king size bed, luxurious linen and an aircon for those hot summer nights.
Bathroom
Both bedrooms are ensuite and come with a large shower and awe-inspiring Karoo views, slide the door open for a semi-outdoor shower experience! There is also a stunning Victorian outdoor bath behind the cabin.

Our Top Tips
- Pack your hiking shoes or mountain bike as there is 1000 hectares of property to explore
- There is a two night minimum stay so make sure to book your leave in for a stress-free getaway (the wifi can be a little slow if you’re working remotely)
- You’ll want to grab your groceries beforehand, as once you arrive, you won’t want to leave! (Worcester is a good option for the basics, or pop your cooler box/Fieldbar in the boot with your favourites!)
