Fancy a weekend of lounging in luxury? Verloren is one our top picks for a romantic getaway — no expense has been spared and those majestic mountain views really steal the show! Located in the Breede Valley, between Montagu and Touws River (2 hours 30 minutes from Cape Town), it’s the perfect secluded cabin which will have you lost in nature since the moment you arrive.
Whether you pack a camera, a diary, your yoga mat or Kindle, we love that this eco-friendly stay is a safe space to disconnect, reconnect and do as little or as much as you like. Out of office = on!
Features
Outside you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub, outdoor bath and shower, fire pit with sun loungers, outdoor dining area, and a braai and boma. Inside you’ll be greeted by a tastefully decorated living area with a neutral and black palette, making for a chic yet understated look that feels like home but better! The cleverly built wrap-around deck is where you’re likely to spend most of your days – gawking at the views, soaking in the hot tub or chilling by the fire pit. The cabin is also fully off-grid too so you don’t need to worry about loadshedding.
