Located in the Breede Valley, between Montagu and Touws River (2 hours 30 minutes from Cape Town), this eco-friendly, modular cabin blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape and offers the perfect escape for couples looking for seclusion and privacy.
Here you can expect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and let nature work its magic on the soul. The toughest choice will be whether to post every corner on Instagram or delete all your social media apps and stay for a week!
Features
Outside you’ll find all the outdoor amenities you could wish for — a wood-fired hot tub, cargo nets, Ooni pizza oven, outdoor dining area, braai and boma area and a show stopper outdoor bath and shower. Inside you’ll be greeted by stylish and modern touches and all the home-away-from-home comforts. The cabin is also fully off-grid too so you don’t need to worry about loadshedding killing your vibe!
The Space
Kitchen
There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a SMEG gas stove, fridge-freezer, airfryer, Sodastream and bean-to-cup coffee machine. Coffee beans, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper are provided.
Living/Dining
There’s a large L-shaped couch, comfy two-person Vetsak and an indoor fireplace. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors at the sunken dining table on the wooden deck. Books and board games are provided, as well as your choice of beats, thanks to a nifty bluetooth speaker.
Bedroom
The bedroom opens out onto the deck and boasts stunning mountain views. The extra-length king sized bed comes with luxurious linen. Plus, there’s an aircon for those hot summer nights.
Bathroom
The bedroom is ensuite and comes with a large shower and awesome views. There is also an outdoor bath and shower if you prefer being one with nature. Or simply open the sliding door of the indoor shower for the best of both worlds!

Our Top Tips
- Pack your hiking shoes or mountain bike as there is 1000 hectares of property to explore
- There is a two night minimum stay so make sure to book your leave in for a stress-free getaway (the wifi can be a little slow if you’re working remotely)
- You’ll want to grab your groceries beforehand, as you won’t want to leave once you arrive! (Worcester is a good option for the basics, or pop your cooler box/Fieldbar in the boot with your favourites!)

- Coffee beans, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper, a bag of firewood and firelighters are provided. You can also purchase additional wood and firelighters
- A high clearance vehicle is recommended
- One large dog or two small dogs are welcome. There is a R250 fee per dog to cover the extra cleaning and you'll need to sign their pet policy
