If you’re craving an escape close to Cape Town and want all the extras – think hot tub, cargo net, and even a pool, then this is the cabin for you!
Set on an olive farm in Wellington, just an hour from Cape Town, it’s surrounded by olive trees, breathtaking mountain views, and incredible hikes. Yet despite the peaceful setting, it’s just a 10-minute drive to wine farms and restaurants that make going out as tempting as staying in.
what we loved
This cabin really does have it all! It’s not every day you find a stay that comes with a hot tub, cargo net, and a lap pool! The four-poster king-sized bed was hands down one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in!
The Space
Kitchenette
There’s a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven, whistling kettle, microwave, toaster, and fridge-freezer. Filter coffee, tea, sugar, 250ml milk, rusks, olive oil, and salt and pepper are provided.
Living/Dining
The spacious open-plan living space features a stunning Japanese inspired wallpaper, with white and pink blossoms creating a romantic backdrop. There is a small dining area and two leather armchairs with footrests positioned in front of the fireplace and TV.
Outdoors
The hero of the cabin is its expansive deck, complete with a wood-fired hot tub, built-in braai, and outdoor dining and lounge spaces. You’ll also find a cargo net, sun loungers, and a sparkling lap pool to enjoy on sunny days.
Bedroom
The king-sized four-poster bed is fitted with the comfiest and most luxurious linen. Extra blankets and electric blankets keep you warm in winter and there is an aircon for warmer evenings. There’s also a hanging rail for your clothes and storage needs.
Bathroom
There is a double vanity in the bedroom fitted with stunning brushed gold fittings. There is a large walk-in shower behind with a massive shower head and the toilet is separate for privacy.
