If you love horses and good wine, then stop scrolling as this is the cabin for you!
Tucked away on a peaceful stud farm in the heart of the Overberg, this private cabin is surrounded by wide-open paddocks, fresh country air and endless views, yet it’s just a 10-minute drive to some of the region’s top wine farms. With sweeping views from both the front and back decks, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to sundowner spots. Inside, expect luxurious, modern interiors, cosy touches, and all the comfort you need for a relaxing countryside stay.
What We Loved
This spot is truly one-of-a-kind and our favourite of their three cabins. It’s the most private, set furthest away, and features super luxurious interiors – think leather armchairs, a king-sized four-poster bed, a bathroom with wraparound views and a bath big enough for two!
The Space
Kitchenette
There’s a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas hob, whistling kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, toaster, and fridge-freezer. Instant coffee, filter coffee, coffee pods, tea, sugar, milk, still water, salt and pepper, and braai seasoning are provided.
Living
While you’ll want to spend most of your time outdoors on the decks, there is an indoor living space which features two leather chairs with foot rests next to a fireplace.
Outdoors
The cabin has decks on both sides, allowing you to soak in the views from every angle. The front deck offers a wood-fired hot tub, a dining table and a comfy lounge area – perfect for meals, sunsets, or simply unwinding. The back deck is a quieter spot, ideal for curling up with a book, and comes with a bench seat and a gas braai.
Bedroom
The king-sized four-poster bed is fitted with luxurious linen and block-out blinds for a restful night. Electric blankets will keep you warm in winter and there is a ceiling fan for warmer evenings. There’s also a hanging rail for your clothes and storage needs.
Bathroom
The spacious bathroom is surrounded by windows, flooding the space with natural light and offering beautiful views. It features a massive bath (big enough for two!) and a separate shower. The windows also open wide if you want to relax more in nature.

Our Top Tips
- Pack your hiking shoes, mountain bikes and swimming costumes as you’ll want to explore the farm and surrounding areas. There is also a dam on the farm which you can swim in
- You’ll want to grab your groceries beforehand, as you won’t want to leave once you arrive! (Peregrine Farm Stall is a good option for some fresh produce, homemade quiches and pies)
- Camden Park is situated close to the Hemel en Aarde Wine Valley which has some of the best wine farms in the country! Some of our favourite wine estates are: Creation, Ataraxia, Spookfontein & La Vierge Wines
- If Camden Park is fully booked then have a look at their other two cabins – Casey Tibbs and Jay Peg
