We’ve just found the ultimate Winelands getaway – perfect for any wine lover! This luxury eco cabin is nestled in the heart of the vineyards in beautiful Devon Valley, Stellenbosch, just 45 minutes from Cape Town.
With stunning interiors, panoramic mountain views, and thoughtful touches throughout, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Plus, it’s only a 10-minute drive to Stellenbosch if you want to go out for a bite to eat or explore the wine farms. We highly recommend this tiny home for your next staycation!
What we loved
Being completely surrounded by vineyards and mountain views while sipping wine in the heated splash pool doesn’t get much better than this! The interiors are just as stunning, beautifully furnished with the most gorgeous joinery and large windows that invite you to gaze out at the views. And the cutest touches, like homemade bread, treats and goodies in the fridge, made it feel extra special.
The Space
Kitchenette
The modern kitchenette is fully equipped with a gas stove, small fridge and Nespresso machine. Coffee pods, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, olive oil, a few different spices and salt & pepper are provided. You’ll also be welcomed with fresh fruit and homemade bread on arrival and some additional goodies in the fridge too.
Living/Dining
The open plan living space features a dining table with a bench seat perfectly positioned to take in the views. There is a cozy fireplace and a selection of board games and puzzles.
Outdoors
Outside, you’ll find another dining area, two sun loungers, and a heated splash pool that gets almost as warm as a hot tub but without the wait or the hassle of stoking a fire! There is also a fire pit/braai area behind the pool.
Bedroom
The bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed and a massive window that overlooks the vineyards. There is also an aircon, ceiling fan and a cupboard for storage.
Bathroom
The bathroom is just as beautiful, featuring a pink sink, a spacious shower and toilet with vineyard views. It’s stocked with Fijn shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Our Top Tips
- Pack your hiking shoes and mountain bikes and swimming costumes gear as you’ll want to explore the farm and take a refreshing dip in one of the farm dams after
- Book your leave in for a stress-free getaway as the wifi can be a little slow if you’re working remotely
- Don’t stress if you’ve forgotten something as it’s just a 10 minute drive into Stellenbosch. There are also some really great restaurants and wine tasting spots in the area
